37 y/o Purple Heart Triple Amputee Veteran and fervent Trump Supporter who ran a GoFundMe for President Trump's "Build The Wall" campaign that drew 20 million now has claims that he's misspending the funds raised after he bought a 1 MILLION YACHT recently as donors are questioning what happened to their smackers!!

Brian Kolfage who was severely wounded in a 2004 rocket attack in Iraq had more than 22 million raised for the project back in December

The Florida resident however is having repeated questions about the progress of the wall and attention has turned to his mini yacht that he said he bought a year "before" he began the gofundme appeal.

But a source at the Stern Facts says he is now living a high flying lifestyle saying "Whether he ordered it last year with the year before is irrelevant, it's still nearly a million dollar boat. Those new toys are very expensive as is flying private"

He previously posted pics of him on private jets with pricey cars. Back in February he posted in front of a plane "It looks like our first piece of land for @webuildthewall is a go!"

But after a lack of progress, 300,000 individual donations one supporter asked "I am very disappointed in you Brian Kolfage, where are the progress photographs". Another added "Quit talking about it and do it. Why no updates on the status of the wall? have a feeling this is a scam"

In an apparent attempt to alleviate their concerns, he posted a video on FB to show steel boards being cut in the factory and said "Just when we thought the fake news media couldn't get more ridiculously desperate, they're now proving how low they'll go by claiming that Brian Kolfage bought a mini yacht with the Gofundme money. It takes simple sills to see that the boat he bought and posted on instagram was purchased a year before he began the gofundme"

It's not clear how this private effort would interact with any federal plans sought by Trump to build the wall with government funds in many of the same areas

On his personal FB, when accused of misusing funds he said there's no update because they have to be silent for a reason and said there will be a good "present" very soon. He lambasts liberals and the ACLU would file a lawsuit to impede their "wall" success

Buzzfeed reported back in January that his program worked with military hospitals including Walter Reed but all of them said they have no record working with him

Gia E. Oney, chief of public affairs for Landstuhl said "We have no record of a donation made in his name"

FB also removed several pages he operated which were also reported scams

Dailymail has contacted Brian Kolfage and the We Build The Wall for comment but have refused.

As of now, all of the 22 million funds raised remains in his possession.

Do you think this was a scam?

The Yachts above are selling from between $800,000-$1,000,000 they are used though I highly doubt the supposed Yacht pictured cost $1,000,000 unless it had a lot of luxuries added.

He's just emulating his hero, considering Trump took donations given to his Trump Foundation and used it to buy shit for himself.

Agreed. Felt the same way about the victims of Trump's "Trump University" scam.
Like yeah...Trump scammed people and should go to jail for it. But at the same time...I distinctly remember commercials for Trump U on tv and immediately thinking, "what kind of moron would fall for this crap? Is it even going to be accredited?!"

Pretty sure the people illegally hiring the illegal immigrants are on our side of the wall.

Oh wait, it's not comfortable to talk about those people, because Trump is one of them...

That's not a yacht. It barely looks big enough to be a cruiser. All the same, I'm curious what evidence they have to prove that this yacht was purchased beforehand since it's not the kind of thing you can get on a soldier's pension or whatever it's called.

There was NO money from the Go Fund Me account. It never got close to reaching it's goal, therefore no one actually lost money to it.

Thats not how Gofundme works.

I stand completely corrected. I was thinking about Kickstarter. So, what moron would actually donate to something like that? Guess that answers my question too. Honestly, they deserve to lose 22 million.

https://www.snopes.com/news/2019/05/15/wall-gofundme-founder/
"an anonymous critic quoted in a 12 May 2019 blog post voiced a suspicion that the campaigns originator, Brian Kolfage, had stolen wall funds and used them to buy a yacht.

The accusation was based on the sources opinion, and no other evidence of wrongdoing was offered up in the post.

...

In a 12 May 2019 post on the blogging platform Medium, Grant Stern, a Florida mortgage broker and writer for the liberal internet network Occupy Democrats, cited an unnamed source who voiced his belief that a yacht pictured on Kolfages Instagram account had been paid for with money from the wall GoFundMe.

...

Kolfage said its not only not true, but it would have been impossible.

He purchased the vessel in question for $675,000, paid mostly up front, after selling another boat in the summer of 2018 a full six months before the border wall stalemate and GoFundMe campaign started, Kolfage told us in an email."
