This is fine. There needs to be a clear timeline, and this is good enough. With some people openly supporting post birth abortion, I would support more states doing this. Post birth abortion is not okay and guidelines like this are necessary to prevent it.

The fact that conception is a possible consequence arising from sex, and thus maybe it's worthwhile to get tested prior to the point of where/when you notice that you've missed your period is somehow looked at as being ridiculous, is itself ridiculous.

But then that's the same mindset with STDs. Not being proactive until you finally notice that burning sensation is caused by the flesh melting disease caught two weeks back.

Tests can be very inconclusive, even up through week 4-5 of pregnancy. Many of the early symptoms of pregnancy are identical to early symptoms of getting your period. Not all women are regular with their period and sometimes, birth control stops their period completely, etc. theres so many different things that make rhese bills ridiculous and unrealistic, its not even funny. But thats the way they want it, of course.

It's crazy how this isn't really common knowledge.

It's not terribly surprising to me. In the US, sex education is extremely poor. We certainly didn't learn any of that at my high school; I had to read that on my own.

If I was a woman, I would purposely drink alcohol and fall on my stomach and take things that will SCREW the baby. Then deliver and throw it away for adoption.

I'm not American. But isn't the 14th amendment also cited as one of the components of abortion? The right to privacy, as in, the government can't tell you what to do with your own body?

And yes, it's the woman's body. The fetus is not its own person until it's born.
