Like, what I mean is...imagine your mom. uses a phone. doesnt know how to use a phone.
space is limited, runs slower than normal. lots of apps i dont know if she needs. it just needs a good rehab. run of the mill $50 android phone. How would one go about making it run more efficient and cleaning it up? ... Copied to Clipboard!

Why not teach your mom what you'd do?

She gave me an ultimatum of two weeks before going back to her flip phone but fortunately it took her maybe a week to get accustomed to the smartphone and now enjoys it. Now she's quite capable of using her smartphone but I do manage it every now and then (i..e clearing caches, etc.) and told her to not let anyone touch her phone or install anything. If her friends and a relative suggest certain apps, she's to tell me which ones, and I'll take care of the rest.
