My step dad once told me if I got a woman pregnant who wasn't white he would disown me and my mom said she would have nothing to do with her grandkids.

today my step dad has disowned me and my mom doesn't acknowledge her grandkids.

I had to hide the fact that I was dating someone outside of my race. Not for fear of being disowned. Literally for fear for my life.

Also, the numerous times I heard my father call my aunt a (hard r) lover. I have two black cousins.

My stepdad is getting better but he always disliked blacks because his one uncle's wife cheated on him with a black dude and uncle shot himself. I never got an explanation beyond that he "just didn't like n*****s"

Naturally, I started fucking black girls on purpose during my rebellious phase.

My cousin is dating a black guy in Georgia and my dad is not a fan. I can't post what he normally says but it's pretty bad. We also were watching What Men Want one day and he said a lot of stupid shit about it. Like "the main character is attractive if only she wasn't"...you can fill in the rest.

My grandmother was a really sweet person, but she wasn't a fan of interracial marriages. Had no problem with blacks or whatnot though. She didn't even mind the dating, which is kinda weird though.

I don't think any of mine were totally racist.

They didn't seem to mind black people they worked with, went to church with or lived in the general area.

But they sure as hell had nothing good to say about blacks in a certain part of town, sometimes even white people if they were too lowdown for their liking.

I know they didn't like my hood rat friends I associated with.

But they were that way about everything, like politics and religion.

Like I remember them complaining about Catholics and Democrats.

For myself I just learned to get along and work with people.

My father used to post stuff on Facebook about how immigrants shouldn't be allowed jobs here, and they should all be deported.

My soon to be wife, mother of my 2 kids, is not from this country. Whenever I'd bring that up he'd always say "Oh, I dont mean her, shes okay."
