Was 20, not allowed out of the house. Constant threat of being beaten/murdered if I stepped out of line. Spent my days locked in my room.

In 2004 I was attending community college and trying to learn Japanese. And that summer I was able to join a group from the school that went to Nagoya, Japan for 2 weeks. And that was probably the most exciting summer of my life

I was working full-time in a paint supply warehouse and had a 1 year old daughter.

was starting middle school and towards the end of the year we moved into a new house in a different part of the county so that was a big shock to the system and took a while for young me to get used to.

I was in the first grade, had a small amount of friends in my grade because my class only had 3 other boys and 20 girls. Partnering up sucked but when 2nd grade rolled around I found all my friends so it worked out.

I also played video games for 12 hours a day. Up to the point where my parents thought I had a problem

I was a sophomore in high school. I had been using GameFAQs for a while for cheats and ended up creating an account to post on a Dynasty Warriors game board. I was busy doing community service and playing baseball, wrestling and doing track.

Senior year high school, truly awful. Up until 2 am doing homework, losing a lot of friends, grades going down. But college starting that fall was a breath of fresh air.

working at Busch Gardens Williamsburg being miserable, I was driving there everyday from Richmond, VA every single day for crap pay
