VI has the best story by far, so I'd want to see that. But they'd fuck it up anyway, so let them make VIII. At least they can't make the story any worse than it already is.

FF8 wouldn't be that bad. Its setting is pretty close to modern except for all the monsters and flying schools. Would make a pretty decent teen drama imo

I would say realistically VII would be more viable because as much as I loved VI the second half of the game dropped off in plot and focused more on collectibles for the end game than anything else. The second half of VI is tailor made for episodic tv.
