I haven't tried it myself. I don't care for the art style and most of the songs are twisted perversions of their former selves that missed what made the originals great. So personally, I'd rather just boot up a rom. The music (some of it in the middle of the game is great, but the game STARTS AND ENDS with the bad) 3. Voice acting is hit and miss (mostly miss) 4. Visual quality (yeah. The "no face movement" thing is a thing) That said, I actually enjoyed it because the game re-balanced everything so basic melee attacks can be useful. I don't recall spamming magic, and the only times I needed to do it was Lunar Boost to get crits). The crashing was definitely the biggest issue but I believe it has been patched since release to make that less of an issue.
