https://news.yahoo.com/arrest-43-old-murder-case-stuns-wisconsin-town-133310972.html

Killed a man and raped and murdered his fiance. He also attacked a 17-year-old girl unprovoked in 1957.

Glad he was caught, but it's a shame that it took so long. He pretty much lived his entire life already and doesn't have much time left.

American prison might do its thing to him. Im not sure if theyd treat elderly inmates differently though.

I think prisoners would show respect to him for managing to evade capture for so long.

On March 6, two sheriff's deputies knocked on Vannieuwenhoven's door, asking him to fill out a brief survey on area-policing. They told him to put the survey in an envelope and seal it with his tongue.

Whitey Bulger was a Boston mafia guy who evaded capture for decades. He was caught in the early 2000s and at the time, his brother was like President or some other high shit of the UMass system. I heard a lot about it and it was big deal at the time because I was a UMass student so the brother had to resign or some shit and then Romney went ahead and messed with the whole UMass system but I don't know if that was ultimately good or bad really. I want to say bad but as governer, Romney's Obamacare-esque thing actually helped me later on so I don't hate the dude even though I was not pleased when he was initially elected...

Depp's "Black Mass" movie is about him.

Nicholson's character from "The Departed" is based off him.

Got beat to death and his eyeballs and tongue cut out anyway.

According to Lockdown 23&1 (YT channel) his age won't matter, especially with those kinds of charges.

What if really is just a nice old man and the DNA evidence is wrong? DNA evidence is useful, but you need more than finding DNA to be certain you've got the right guy. And nobody is bothered by the way the police collected the evidence? It shouldn't be legal for the police to acquire evidence the way they did. If they are so certain they have the right guy, speak to a judge and get a warrant.
