been playing through the story because it was free on PS+ and I had wanted to try it for a long time

but I'm just like... not loving it.

I've seen a lot of praise for the combat system but to me it just really really clunky and unrewarding unless I'm drastically doing something wrong

I want to push through the rest of the story and maybe try multiplayer if servers aren't garbage yet but I'm kinda wondering if it's even worth it.

I found the multiplayer to be better than the campaign. If you decide to give the multiplayer a shot let me know I'll play with you. Also get thrown weapons if you haven't already.

its not about campaign its about multiplayer . it was alright. the launch was a sight to behold

playing the viking section just kinda makes me wish I was playing Hellblade

meanwhile the Knight/Samurai sections just make me want to play Dark Souls/Sekiro

which also makes me want a From Software Viking game now

tried multiplayer

it's better than single player but still not great. I don't know if I just don't get it or if I'm getting paired against people way stronger or what. So far I've one 1 out of 5 matches, and the 3 of the 4 we lost were slaughters.
