Sheep007 06/06/19 1:31:54 PM #11:	You only have to use bikes to compete in Wii if you're playing online (which you can only do if you homebrew now) and even then the items are balanced enough that you can catch up if you know when to use them, without them being completely broken. You put yourself at a disadvantage if you don't use a few certain vehicles and I agree that's an issue but it's the same for every other Mario Kart, just to a greater extent in Wii. I think the fact that the driving in Wii is so much more fluid and enjoyable makes up for that, plus it actually has shortcuts which aren't just going to a ramp/hole in the offroad, unlike newer games.
