Illinois Catholic Bishop, Thomas Paprocki has DENIED Communionto 2 pro-choice Democrats after calling abortion an "abominable crime" and "serious sin" as the state is expanding women's rights!!

The Diocese of Springfield targeted the 2 Demoraticc leaders because of their stance on abortion and announced that Speaker of the House, Michael Madigan and John Cullerton are banned from the most sacred aspect of their Catholic faith because of their advancement on supporting abortion

He said "To support legislation that treats babies in the womb like property, allowing for their destruction for any reason at any time is evil. These persons may be readmitted to Holy Communion only after they have truly repented these grave sins and furthermore haev made suitable reparation for damages and scandal, or at least have seriously promised to do so, as determined in my judgement or in the judgement of their diocesan bishop in consultation with me or my successor"

Illinois passed this monath a bill stripping away a number of restrictions on abortions that have existed in decades which is in constrast of conservative states approving a ban.

Governor JB Pritzker is expected to sign the new law as the bishop says "It's my hope and prayer that these lawmakers reconcile themselves to the Church so they can receive communion. This is not intended to be punitive. I'm not interested in punishing people. I'm interested in their change of heart and want them to see this is wrong."

Madigan however said it's important to protect a woman's right to choose and make her own health decisions, including those who become pregnant from incest or rape

Communion, in which Catholics eat bread and drink wine representing the body and blood of Chris is essential rite of faith

It's more of an issue where people's political leanings or sexual orientation are grounds for ex-communicating but people who commit pedophilia just get rotated to a new diocese.
