In my opinion owning any animal you want in your own property is a fundamental right. That the government can't outlaw owning any animal in your own property. Keyword property. If you live in an apartment and the landlord says no tigers allowed, then the landlord has has the legal right to outlaw wild animals in the complex. But if the landlord says hey go ahead you are allowed to keep tigers in the apartment then that should be okay, which was the case with Ming the tiger in 2003.

An African American man (Antoine Yates) in 2003 was keeping a Bengal Tiger in his Harlem apartment and apparently the landlord and tenants were cool with it.

A woman who shared a Harlem apartment with a 425-pound tiger said yesterday she was terrified at first- but soon got used to living with the man-eater down the hall. Caroline Domingo told the Daily News she couldn't believe her eyes when she spotted the big cat roaming free in the apartment where she and her husband rented a room from tiger-owner Antoine Yates. [...] But eventually, she said, "We all became family."

They were like family. See it's possible to keep a tiger in an apartment without the tiger attacking the tenants. I mean there is thousands of proof that wild animals can be domesticated. I mean wolves are no different than dogs, I don't know why they are illegal to own.

When Ryan kills Peter the former is guilty of murder of the latter. When the lion kills the zebra the former is not guilty of murder of the latter. Why not? This is because animals dont have rights. And how can you give rights to an animal when they don't even recognize it?

Besides the only way to save endangered species is through private ownership. You don't see cats and dogs being extinct because they are privately owned, same with cows.
