He was riding south on I-95, just north of Daytona Beach in Volusia County when a lightning bolt struck his helmet and the bolt went to his EYES!! The agency said an off duty Virginia state trooper saw the bolt hit directly at the man from the FRONT of his helmet who then veered off the road and crashed to his death... The highway patrol tweeted what was left of his helmet that cracked and showed the area of where the lightning bolt hit him.
