It was banned? I remember it being auto-flagged, and the message telling you to not use it as an insult, or to indicate that something is bad. But I don't remember it being banned.

I'd always change my wording though because I feel like a lot of mods over the years weren't always able to distinguish the difference.

I believe it was banned in topic titles and autoflagged in messages.

You can now say sucks in a topic title, but not sux.

I got modded for arguing Itachi was gay. Not as an insult. It was reneged. The only moderation case I have that I would say is completely on the fault of the mod in question.

So then I trolled mods with gay stuff for a while, and then I grew up.

Yeah, I remember kids on this site got mad cuz I used the word effeminate to refer to things instead of gay cuz they couldn't mod me for it.

Its not a slur though. Its just a regular curse word. We can say bitch and motherfucker, so it seems weird to me that we cant say the c word as long as its not directed at another poster

Originally the word "girl" meant boy

And "gay girl" meant girl.

Boy was then used for a lesser, usually young position (I.E The "Bakers Boy will bring it over this afternoon" or "Have the boy the tend to the fire") and just due to the fact 9/10 times the "boy" was the son, it became known as males.

And the "Gay girls" just became girls and people stopped refering to boys as girls.

Weird how language changes.

Its because for some reason I will never understand Americans think its on a higher level than all other curse words. I'm American and dont even get it
