How do you prevent pitot tubes from getting clogged?

Stay out of known or forecast icing conditions. Also use pitot heat

that thing they show you in physics class. Sorry I have a hard time explaining a lot of things even if I understand the concept.

You'd expect the passengers to be trained in parachuting which is wholly impractical. Also, it would add a crippling amount of weight to the aircraft.

Depends. 10 hours minimum between flight duty requirements. Eight or nine consecutive hours when physically flying the jet. Third pilot required for flights over eight hours. Two sets of crews (four pilots) for flights twelve hours or more.

I don't know much about the market forces of aviation, sorry.

Ever heard of the Propair crash? My dad lost a bunch of coworkers in the crash.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propair_Flight_420

Even weeks after the crash, the wife of one of the passengers kept coming to the office to wait for her husband after work. She just stayed in the parking lot every day. Was pretty bad.

I have never heard of this, but that's sad.

Somewhat. They mostly use tablets now. But yes, most major airports have a specific set of SIDs and STARs, among a bunch of other stuff.

Heard the Tehran airport has a particularly difficult landing, is that true?

I don't t know. Why would it be? the only potential reason(s) I can think of is that it's in a hot desert environment. Planes have performance reductions in low density air. Also it's a very unstable region so you gotta watch out for all sorts of manmand hazards.

Yes. Mountains can pose quite a hazard as one might intuitively surmise. I think a similar sort of airport exists in Ecuador.

yes, if the treadmill itself doesn't move and the surface gives the plane enough traction to reach rotation speed under its own power.

The media narrative that the "copilot" (the first officer) does nothing and that the captain does everything.

Other question. What is your favorite WWI aircraft?
