24 y/o Urszula Makowska from New York thought she found the love of her life named "Lucas" on TINDER after she booked a $500 flight to visit him...and he turned out to be a CATFISH who also duped 400 OTHER women too!!

She was so heartbroken back in 2015 because she also gave him NUDE PICS after chatting for a month!!

She told how she regularly sent pics of herself and him sending videos of himself on snapchat just after 4 months of chatting that she spent 500 on a flight to Missour to go see him and realized it was all scam as Lucas was not the name who he said he was

She's sharing her story in light of a new resarch by mobile phone insurer "insurance2go" that found 1 in 3 people have or would be tempted to cafish, while a quarter were victims

She struggled to trust men and was terrified to go back to the dating game as she became a huge mess and felt lost. She started to focus on herself and avoided any relationship with men.

After her 3 year relationship ended in 2015, she felt like her whole world was crumbling as she was hopeless and heartbroken...that's when she signed up for Tinder

That's when "Lucas" came up who persistently messaged her and eventually they got close. She said he made her feel he was there for her and took things offline and were talking for months, even on the PHONE

All the trust was there where it seemed so real as they had such a great time talking over the phone but they never had any video chat sessions despite the deep feelings she had for him

She didn't suspect anything was wrong because he did send pics and videos on snapchat showing him walking in New York during a snowstorm while he was apparently "visiting"

There were also videos of him enjoying the night life and where he sent selfies as there was no evidence he was faking it..but her biggest mistake was agreeing to send him nude photos and videos

When he said he was moving to NY for an internship, she took the plunge to go and visit him in Missouri for Spring Break..and when she saw him, she was in HORROR as the real Lucas confessed he wasn't the guy in the photos....

Urszula was in shock who cried hysterically..but before he blocked her, she took action by screenshotting his instagram followers and direct messaged ALL of them to tell them they were being duped and he's done this to 400 other women

He said it was a SOCIAL EXPERIMENT and wanted to see what it was like to talk to attractive females on Tinder

Urszula appeared on MTV Catfish a year later where she leanred Lucas kept a Google Drive on them with notes on each girl as she went face to face with him to tell him off

The worst part was that he was NOT apologetic or sincere and that made her sick to her stomach

Her career and reputation were ruined over this and although there's better technology to protect from catfishing, sh e said women should still be wary cause there will always be a way for these people get by the system
