This would make my third, I think, but I don't want to break the rules.

You can only post your wishlist up to three times per topic. But having it in your signature (like you currently do) doesn't count as posting your wishlist. So you're good.

Its not even that team corgi is flailing(because they arent). its that valve tied a 50 lbs weight to them to slow them down so that even though they currently have 3x the boost of every other team they just cant run fast enough to keep up.

500 capacity per task, so 2k total. Figure that combined with sheer number of people on team doge is what helped boost them to first again. But, it also makes them a target from the other teams to slow down/attack

This is probably the most broken game they've ever done for a sale. I still get no points for completing the tasks under "play these games you own".

Team Corgi is gaining about .03-.04 km a second, everyone else is gaining at least .1km a second... But they have 3x the boost active vs everyone else.

It seems like that makes the quests completely pointless then as I have many thousands of points just from random achievements on Steam, lol.

It seems like the goal is to spend money to get a lot of boost... But if you have to spend a shit load of money for only a chance at winning a free game you're better off just buying the game

Pretty much. Especially after they changed the way that redeeming achievement points work - used to cause all points over your max threshold to go to waste, but now it only redeems as many as needed to put you to your max.

They just added some "qualifier tasks" that give you a 500 point max capacity increase and they can all be completed in less than 30 seconds (well a proper game review would take longer but still)

Well, I've given Salt and Sanctuary a try, beat the first boss...definitely enjoying it. I've officially done more in it than I ever have in Dark Souls XD

Well valve is now actively working against team corgi. I have been watching all day and corgi has had 1000 boost or more all day while Tortoise had 500 earlier and is now down to 330. Corgi was dead last up until a little while ago and is now creeping up. I will laugh when Corgi still wins, but then again I would imagine that they will face an even
larger disadvantage tomorrow.

And i also noticed no one added my wishlist to the google doc. my name is in the list but not my wishlist.

Who would you pick ? Rabbit or a fat pig or an old turtle or A GOLDEN DOG?

I joined a team and when I bought all those gifts, it said I could apply points to my team, or something. But I haven't seen any method to actually do that. My Available Points under the Boost thing still reads 0.

You have to play one of the games they have quests for to earn the points. Buying games expands your boost meters capacity(until you spend those points which expends your boost meters capacity along with the points) or play a game you have achievements in for a half hour to get credit for those achievements to redeem the points to boost with.

PSA: now the extra points from your achievements are no longer burned when you redeem over your capacity. Any overage points you lost before are available again so long as you have the capacity to redeem them.

Speaking of, Valve really badly burned team corgi. They were almost 1000 KM behind this morning when I first checked.

my points are completely bugged out.

When the sale first started, I got about 1.3k cap (which was surprisingly low compared to other people.), but also around 24k current points. Even after I hit my cap I could still boost, which spent 1k points, but didn't give me any pit stop currency.

Later I got my cap randomly increased to 9k, but it counted the empty boosts I did, so I had about 7k/9k spent without getting the pit stop currency for it. Then I got 2k more from the tasks that add to your cap.

Now my cap has randomly gone back down again to 8.8k, So now my cap is lower than both my points spent and my current points.
