Gotta have maces for Disruption, that shit's broken.

And most likely Scimitar for Belm off-hand.

I usually let Jaheira have Belm, because her weapon options are more restrictive.

In my last run through he series, it looked something like:

PC Cavalier: DWing Bastard Swords, Axes, and Flails. For Defender of Easthaven, Foebane, Azuredge, and Axe of the Unyielding.

Jaheira: DWing Scimitars and Clubs. Mostly Blackblood, Gnasher, Spectral Brand and Belm.

Keldorn: Two handed swords for Carsomyr and Silver Sword. Also Maces for Mace of Disruption.

Minsc: DWing Maces, Flails, and Katana. For Mace of Disruption, Flail of Ages, and Celestial Fury.

Until he was replaced by...

Mr. ToB: THing Two handed Swords and Halberds for Sword of Chaos +4, Wave, and Ravager.

I don't think I've ever used Bastard Swords.

Axe wise I always end up with the one that does Vorpal.

Hammers are nice for duel Crom Fayer and the undead one.

Mr. ToB with Ravager is just busted.

He also should be able to do a few low level Divine spells.

yeah, and also remember that Imoen can be dual-classed into a mage, and she's pretty effective as such

She's dual classed often they went ahead and made it canon in 2.

Bastard Swords are mostly for Foebane and Purifier. There are a few good axes. Azuredge is especially useful on a Cavalier, because it can be used as a throwing axe that returns to the user and makes up for their inability to use missile weapons. It also has a chance to instantly kill undead, like the MoD.

I typically ignore Crom Faeyer because I usually prefer to keep the strength boosting gear for my party.
