We're house shopping, and I'm getting ahead of myself lol. Can CE think of any more stuff to do with the nerdcave?

Already have:

Vidja systems and PC
HDMI selector
Trinitron for retro systems
23.6" 1080p Monitor
Desk with builtin file cabinet but bad leg room
Chair
RPi 3, components, general engineer geekery

Currently on the list:

PC upgrades
TV (specifics depend on the available space; don't need a huge TV for a small room or a UHs res for a small-midsize TV)
Wall mount bracket
Bluetooth headphones
Thrift store/cheap Sofa/loveseat for guests

Plus these indulgent "maybe" items:

Desk/table with better leg room
Coffee machine
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y3YFF8X (what does CE think; white or black?)
Book case for books, vidja, movies, comics and the Green Ranger (I have a Green Ranger action figure lol).
Separate file cabinet for components and stuff.
Tiny monitor for tinkering.

The plan:

Put the desk/table against the long wall and put the monitor/keyboard on the short side across from the TV wall. Trinitron on the floor under the TV. Sofa facing TV wall. If there's room left, instruments and stand in a corner.

Hook up PC HDMI output 1 to monitor, newer vg systems and PC HDMI output 2 to existing HDMI selector, to TV. Guest in the nerdcave? Win + P duplicate. No guest? Win + P extend. Playing on PC with a controller? Win + P second screen only and plop on the sofa. Playing on PC with M+ K, Win + P PC screen only. Plop down on the sofa for other Vidja.

Put PC under the desk, taking advantage of better legroom, freeing up space. Use the rest of the table (not occupied by M + K and monitor) for tinkering.

You should get a small aquarium, like 10 or 20 gallon. It provides extra lighting and is a cool centerpiece for any room.

Seriously though, you can get a respectable one started up and running for under $200, me and cjsdowg and a few others are pretty knowledgeable and can help you out with setup and questions.

I have one set up in my gaming room of the house, but it's an aquaponic system and I grow herbs and stuff in it. It's a fun side project.
