Heyman did the timing for the episode, supposedly. He was the one who packed more matches in than normal. He also put together that segment you mentioned, supposedly.

It's been confirmed by Bischoff himself that he doesn't start until after Extreme Rules.

Its still current WWE, unfortunately.

- Multi-man elimination/2 out of 3 falls matches so there's no wrestling during the commercial break.

- 'Wild Card' rule still 'in effect' so brand split means nothing

- Shane McMahon is the most visible superstar on both shows (which was Stephanie, or Stephanie and The Authority a few years back, just a never ever ending stream of Stop Already)

- The title with the most (and best) story and craft put into the feuds is the joke title

Poor AJ Lee.

This was actually my first time watching a full fledged RAW in years mostly because it was just me at home and I didn't have to share the TV with anyone else.

It was OK. Some good parts, some bad parts. They need to come up with more creative ways to have "no wrestling during commercial" spots, but AJ is great as a shit-head heel again and Sarah Logan got a bit of run. Plus DREW MAC fucking Cedric Alexander up with the Claymore was awesome.

Also the Maria segment turning into a "who's the father?" storyline when they're literally married is super, super gross.

And the Sasha Banks tease is super obvious but at the same time I have no earthly idea if she actually will come back at this point.

I actually watched last week's Raw to see what the hype was about and didn't even think it was much better. Most notable thing I saw was that it started with a match instead of a boring ass 30 minute promo. Which hey, progress, but I'm not sure there wasn't a bit of perception skewing reality going on there.
