22 y/o Sean Rickard from California, who admitted to having sex with a 12 YEAR OLD girl he met on TINDER after she posed as a 19 y/o was only handed a 16 MONTHS PRISON Sentence in a VERY LENIENT plea deal!!

He plead guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor three years younger than the perpetrator, even though the victim was actually 9 years his junior

He said the girl posed as 19 y/o which she admitted as well and as part of the agreement, they dropped 3 counts of lewd acts with a minor younger than 14 and one count of distributing porn to a minor with intent to engage in sexual conduct and luring a c hidl with the intent to commit a crime

Officers responded to a charter school where a 12 y/o student was reported to have been sexually assaulted by a man.

She told police she pretended to be 19 and met him last year. Tinder said they are stressing that the dating app is for adults only, 18 or over as they use industry lleading automated and manuel moderation and review tools to prevent minors from using the app

The 2 had exchanged messages for months before she revealed her TRUE AGE to him but that did NOT deter him!! She skipped school on February 25 and was picked up by Rickard who then took her a parking lot where he sexually assaulted her.

It was all thanks to the victim's classmate who saw her friend skipping school and snapped a photo of the 2 and showed it to parents.

After police found out, they posed as the victim and began talking to him and he believed it was still her and sent a video of himself TOUCHING himself..

He agreed to meet her again to have sex and that's when he was busted by police at the parking lot. He admitted that he still had sex with her knowing she was 12.
