Play normally, but you HAVE to catch one of EVERY mon as you progress. And you need to get the evolutions as you can.

First route team only. No dupes. No starter. Each thing can only have one move used in battle. HM slave as necessary but sending one out counts as a loss and forced reset, even if it's as a result of whirlwind or roar in battle. No hold items. Limit of 1 revive use between Pokemon center visits and not in battle. Can't use potions in battle either, and no buying them.

Do a run to get the least pokedex entries seen as possible. So the less pokemon you have seen on your dex the better.

This means ideally you would only have the seen pokemon = to your starter and pokemon that gym leaders have. Probably would want to avoid unnecessary fights and would grind (if needed) on areas that only spawn pokemon that you have already seen.

Think of it as an anti-catch them all.

What is the least you could get?

You must nickname your Pokmon and have a theme (Marvel characters, colors, anime characters, etc).

Say you catch a Pidgey, then a Spearow. You can't catch Ratatta because it comes before Spearow. Likewise, if you caught Spearow before Pidgey, you can never catch a Pidgey. You can only catch Pokemon that come after your past catch in the Pokedex.
