Started out at 185lb back in February, and am now hovering around 135lb. My goal weight is 110lb so I still have a ways to go, but Im excited Im already down 50!

Keep that in mind when looking at the pics please. Im still overweight, I know that. This is just an update on the progress Ive made so far ^^

How do you not get hungry.

I don't know why but as of late as I have been cutting down my Cals. I have just been getting like Super hungry. And it is not like those time when you eat because of stress or something just really hungry.

The face gains have increased my self confidence so much holy shit. I look so much different now and I love it! That alone motivated me to stay on track after not seeing major enough results on the rest of my body after a few weeks. I was demotivated, but then I compared my face to the previous month.

Now Im starting to see major results on my midsection and arms, so Im excited about that too

Your body gets used to it after a while. And also, you should be slowly reducing calories. If you try to go to an extreme number immediately, then itll be very difficult because youre shocking your body

Also make sure that youre using up your calories with hearty foods! My limit is 1200 calories a day. Which is honestly pretty low, but its what I need to stay under in order to lose weight because Im so short and small.

I eat a lot of rice, chicken, potatoes, really whatever I feel like. It fills me up for a minimal amount of calories considering the volume of food Im eating. Pickles are a good snack. Each one is like 1 calorie or less lol

100% diet corrections for me. I do not exercise at all lmao. Im so lazy, I need to. And I will after I reach my goal weight so I can tone up

Calories in, calories out. Thats how I do it. Diets dont really work for me, because it involves cutting out entire food groups. And when I would mess up, I would give up entirely and binge on whatever I wanted for the next few weeks until I tried yet another ridiculous diet that wasnt going to work.

Like, I can choose to eat a pizza. And a candy bar! But then Ill be hungry the rest of the day because that would use up all my calories for the day. So I have to plan out what Im going to eat. Or I want to splurge, i can. But then im fasting the rest of the day. Idk, this really works for me but it might not for others. Everyones different but this is the first time ive ever had lasting progress

See that is the odd thing. I been eating lower amounts for a good while. But just in the last two weeks I been hungry. After typing this ... I think it really is stress (lol) nothing else seems right.

135lbs is skinny, but sadly for girls that's still in a chubby range. You'll get to 110 if you keep working at it, but you'll need to start exercising. There will be a point where your body stops losing with only low calories.

Good for you! CICO definitely can work if you do it right and it seems like you've found the rhythm that works for you. At some point when you've really honed your discipline, you can even stop counting calories and just recognize what's a good eating decision, what's a bad eating decision that isn't worth, and what's a "bad" decision that you can afford so it ends up not being bad.

When I grew up I was fed by my loving grandparents and mom who let me get fucking huuuge as a kid. By HS I knew I had to turn my life around and dieted and jogged the weight away which changed my life forever. By diet I mean I used CICO like you are but also ate extremely healthy and pretty much consumed zero processed food. Fast forward almost a decade later and my weight has gone up and back down through the years but I'm currently the strongest I've ever been at my current weight with the best looking physique I've ever had. I no longer use CICO and I eat whatever I want (pizza, candy bars, you name it) but that's because I've been active and eating relatively smart for so long that I can just listen to my body and use self control.

Just keep at it and it'll only get easier and easier. Whenever you feel comfortable and ready incorporate exercise: cardio for your heart and lung health, strength training (lifting) for muscle gainz. You'll just end up feeling and looking even more fit and healthy and it'll create a positive loop.

Very nice work. Quite inspiring.

I hope you can keep it up. I know from experience that after reaching a certain weight, that it is easy to lose motivation to be active. But since you don't really gain weight unless you drastically increase your eating habits, it's kinda nice not to worry too much about it unless you just want to be in better shape.

Great job! Losing weight is a really tough battle.

My current struggle is maintaining weight. I go from really strict dieting and exercise to trying portion control and better decisions. I have yet to find a way that works for me to maintain weight and will power for long periods of time.. so i end up dieting more than not.

I agree. Because of my height being so short I only have around 1100 calories a day. Which is honestly a small amount of food. Also, Im getting to a plateau now. Ive been hovering at 135 for three weeks now, when usually i can lose 5-6lb in that amount of time

I need to be more strict on my diet, and I also need to start exercising. I plan on using my bike to do it instead of a gym membership. I could easily bike around for an hour and a half each day as exercise.

For sure, I notice now that I can already guess the amount of calories and know intuitively the amount of food I can eat in a day.

My parents were the total opposite of yours. I actually grew up always being fit. I played soccer for hours every single day practicing. I was on track team.
Then I got depressed. I stopped exercising and I stopped caring about what I ate. Ive been staying in bed all day for the past three years. Now that Im finally starting to crawl out of that dark place, Im slowly getting better and Im really excited.

Thanks for all the advice! I would love to eventually tone up, I need to start looking into some of the gym routines Id need to do

Yup, that is indeed a rarity

Also i didnt realize at first that you managed to lose the weight without exercise. Exercise can sometimes improve mood, too so thats an added bonus to having a workout regimen :)

I already feel a lot better. Its crazy how just eating better has lifted my spirits in general. Im a lot more motivated to get out of bed every day and do something. And physically too, Im less lethargic and generally feel good and am fresher.
