It's actually not the same wage, you get payed slightly more with a degree if it's relevant to the field you're in, but the pay is like maybe 2-4 dollars more per hour, and most serious jobs are performance based or they pay you a salary but overload you with work. Being an employee in every sense is a suckers move, you eventually become an NPC and your employer really could care less about you.
