Of course not. If you support him, you're racist. BUT I can see how CE would use the same excuses they use in present times to justify that too:

1) 'Mexican isn't a race, so it's ok to do/say/ ______ to them'
' Muslim is a religion, not a race, therefore I can't be racist for thinking/wanting that muslims _____'

They could have said the same about jewish people. Techically it's not a race, so...

2) 'It's not about race, it's about economic anxiety. We got to take care of our own first"

The detail is who 'our own' means to them,

3) 'Look, it's all legal. We're just following the law here, these people broke the law'

All the WW2 atrocities were technically legal as per German laws of the time.

Obviously no, you CANNOT support hitler and not be racist, but I could see some of the usual suspects here saying you could, back in 1933/1934

Between 33 and 34 he was seen as the saving angel that would make Germany great again, so I would say yes.

Right, racists won't admit they're racist.

At that time, most of the people sent to concentration camps were sent there because of their political views, not ecause of their religion or skin color.

I can see people supporting him at first, but then finding the atrocities sickening and not supporting any more or trying to help.

the real question here is: when did he start to bring in topics of race, jews and aryans into his politics or rhetoric?
i assume there was some of that in Mein Kampf?

also, is this topic counting in the fact that pretty much everyone hated Jews at that time, on some level, even those who stood against hitler?

Having a boogeyman to rally against really brings out the tribalism in people. Hell, even when it's not in direct favor of a specific group, people will still decide what to do, individually, based on what people of their perceived tribe do. That's a factor of the tragedy of the commons.

I mean I am sure its possible for someone ignorant to fall victim to propaganda or simply fell in line and supported out of fear. You would be surprised just how Ignorant, gullible, and fearful people can be and the absurd amount of cognitive dissonance humans are capable of.

Its not like every German citizen who didnt join an underground resistance Cell was just as racist a bastard as Hitler himself(though their certainly was plenty of racism to go around at the time) . It didnt take long for Hitler/Nazis to create laws that enabled arrests without warrant or cause and allowed them to pretty much ignored the German Constitution after gaining power. Not supporting the Nazis quickly became very dangerous.

I mean, there's a saying like "hey, at least you'll get a promotion, right Hans?" to describe the attitude of normal german citizens of the time towards the holocaust.

But when you see a MAGA rally and you see the look in their eyes and their laughs and grins when something like "send her back" is chanted, wouldn't you agree that it's out of their own volition?

These guys seems pretty damn excited to me, listen to those racial slurs (warning - offensive) :
