Chase can be very picky when it comes to extending credit. They already have a 5/24 rule where they'll deny you outright if you've applied for 5 cards (with ANY issuer) over a 24 month period.

Yeah, I read about it today but I haven't applied for a credit card in like 7 years. I think they are just being strict. I did hear from youtube about AMEX being second in customer service.
