If there was a new video game console and all they did was buy every timed exclusive possible instead of developing their own games I wouldn't want to support them either. I don't like this business practice in general. If Epic spent their money improving the PC ecosystem by investing in more games or games that weren't coming to PC I'd like them more. Otherwise from my perspective they're just making PC gaming worse. I don't see the reason investing in a platform that only offers getting games earlier than Steam.
