It's not even close, man. It is, though. SMW water music is by far the best 2D Mario water music. I would say the upbeat part makes Mario 64's water music slightly better but for the regular part alone, SMW > SM64. I could've sworn Jolly Roger Bay just looped the first 50 or so seconds of the song, but upon further speculation yeah I think I remember wrong (last time I played was about 2010-2011ish). As for SMW's water music I'd say it's about tied with the original SMB for best 2D underwater theme - and don't get me wrong, it's a good song - but Dire, Dire Docks is a whole different level. --- ...
