Like they're going to see the Sonic movie, despite all the gnashing of teeth about it. Their protests mean nothing and the fact that they inspired a change was almost entirely unnecessary on the part of Paramount because the audience can't resist going to see it.

When you're listening to Tool, just remember that they're not like other bands. Their music is incredibly artistic, almost to the point where you have to be paying complete attention to them to even remotely understand them. I remember listening to a song on Lateralus (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought a song was absolute bollocks during the listen. Then, I closed my eyes for a second, and all of a sudden the song had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Tool could just become something so different when you take a look into the music.

Another thing you should note about Tool is that it's easy to get a headache listening to them. Not because they're a bad band, but because of how many ideas their music is riddled with and how complex they are. Soon enough your head will fill to the brim and the rest will just sound like noise to you. Just turn it off and give it a listen the next day.

If you don't like the music, you'll definitely at least enjoy reading through the lyrics, and picking apart the song itself and all of the artistic values that go into making it the complexity that it is.

Im a Sonic fan. I thought the design was stupid but the movie didnt look any worse than any other childrens furry animal comedy, and Im always down for Jim Carrey.

Sonic is a meme franchise at this point I dont let things like uncanny cgi horror Pojo Magazine off brand designs make me angry lol

You can only make consistently bad games for so long before you eventually hurt even the most prestigious IP. It would happen to Mario over the course of a decade too if he got one okay game for every five dumpster fires.

Most people I've seen said it was just "good enough" and when CTR:NF came along they dropped it like it's hot.

Im pretty sure Im saying the opposite (that people in the Sonic fandom WILL see it, if for nothing else morbid curiosity and to say that they saw a Sonic movie in theaters) but your post is too inscrutable to say for certain...

Depends on whether or not someone like yourself represents them.

Nah. The really visible ones on the Internet are but they're really a minority when you consider that pretty much everyone likes at least one Sonic game.

I mean, Adventure, Generations and Racing Transformed were killer games so I would have to consider myself at least something of a fan.
