Factually incorrect. Anyone can buy or rent one for under 30k. If you go the extra step and get a CDL license you can also very easily get an 18 wheeler.

I get that its the leftist shtick to not use points based in facts but this is especially embarrassing. You honestly post like someone whos spent their entire life on a computer and knows nothing off of it. These are very, very basic points of knowledge if you know anything whatsoever about transporting product. Havent you ever done retail or something and been in charge of ordering inventory? Receiving, shipment, anything?

I don't think you understand how incomparable it is. Yes you can buy them, but to operate them requires licenses and permits. Also buy for 30k is false. A quick search shows prices are going to at the very least be approaching 100k.

Where is the license, permits, etc needed to own a gun? Not to mention, I don't know where you live, but if I owned a full size 18 wheel cargo truck I could not even legally drive it on the road by my house(Or house it on property).

Literally no one would allow me to rent a full size cargo truck(Full size ulti, not those cheap moving vans you are probably thinking of). I have no license/permit/etc.

But I need nothing to go buy a gun(I could take a 4 hour drive to Nevada and have one within an hour of that).

Also you lost this argument before you started because before you posted that response to me about other tools I had already double checked my old knowledge on vehicle rammings to make sure no one hd ever caused similar damage with a typical car or small truck. (The full size cargo truck did come up, but again, that is -not- a publicly available tool).

whoa i'm not tall.

I'm 5'10 188 right now. I run several miles a day which when I started actually caused me to put on significant weight several years ago when I started(I went from about 155 to 180 in a hurry).

Don't think I've posted much of a full picture here in years(Mostly just cat and dog pics). Lanky was probably accurate then, not anymore. Shoulder likely has significant wear and tear from throwing a lot of baseballs, but it isn't popping off.

Also no, no real significant punching fights as an adult.

Had a few when I was younger but I was average-small size so when I started punching people usually didn't expect it and people dont know how to take a punch. That results in a lot of cowering when people don't expect that they are going to be hurt. I mean, you should know I played a lot of sports, so its not like I was ever out of shape/totally out of conditioning, maybe from like 19-25 I let myself go a little bit but so do a lot of people at that age).

As an adult assault carries you know, legal penalties. So no punching. Generally fights are more self-defense and the goal is subdue and not hurt(This generally means lock someones arms/pull them down to the floor if necessary), so no real need for fists.

Banning guns stops law-abiding citizens from acquiring guns. Criminals will acquire them either way. Banning guns in the US (i.e. only allowing the police to have them) is the way to that country becoming even more of a police state. When confronted by a criminal with a gun, you'll have to hope the police will help you. But they won't. It's a big country, they're too far away, and you'll be killed by the time they get there.
