in my head it's weird that people talk themselves up in that way. but then again i know i struggle when it comes to how i feel about my own looks

the biggest compliment i'll have of myself is when i've taken a decent selfie, or i'm wearing a fire shirt/jeans/trainers combo. but there's never a time in my mind where i think i'm super attractive, stunning or good looking in general. especially compared to other guys out there

Tbqh I never saw myself as sexually attractive until I was in a functional long-term relationship. Before that I always had fairly low self esteem and it was not helped by the people I chose to surround myself with.

the secret about men is that the bar for male attractiveness is collectively set so low that all you have to do is be above the baseline level of self care and you're automatically in the attractive category. like dont be fat, have a decent haircut and wear clothes that actually fit and you already beat out like 50% of men

I don't think so. Lots of people have self esteem issues and can take time to build up the self confidence to build that up. Being in a good relationship and working on yourself can do wonders to help with it though. It took me a veeeeerry long time until I was able to see myself as attractive (or at least attractive to some weirdos anyway!)

And for good measure, you are a pretty smokin' guy too.

I dont think its weird but Im that way too. I dont think Im ugly or unattractive but I dont really see myself as hot. I know I get complimented a lot here, but I really dont irl and Im surrounded by beautiful women everywhere. I dont see myself on their level. That Chad topic I made a while back was like the first time a guy approached me in a couple of years lol. I also grew up ugly and awkward and severely bullied.

I dunno but I don't either, if it makes you feel better.

I look like Owen Wilson got shot in the face and doctors rebuilt him with scrap furnature, then he got covered in severe third degree burns.

I've always felt attractive based on how other people reacted to me. Never really cared what I thought about myself when it comes to looks. Im pretty insecure about my teeth but that's obvious for anyone with bad teeth. No ones like "yeah, Im rockin the fuck outta these jacked up teeth"

I'm the same way. I know my self esteem is shot, and it's just me being hard on myself... but it's so difficult to not to think that when I've never actually attracted anyone. It feels like there's something majorly wrong with me to have ended up this way, and I hate that about myself.

I feel that could change if I actually could attract someone, if anyone actually wanted to be with me. It hurts so much to be compleyely unwanted. Every attempt has ended in failure, looks like it's never going to change for me. I see al these other people in life(and posting on here) who just accept that they can get a partner as a natural part of life, and it drives me crazy sometimes. I get so angry with myself for not being worth anything to anyone.
