I have my screen in my gauge cluster display the speed and I never look at the analog. The main problem with analog are the differences in cars top speed. Due to this where 60 would be on one car could be 80 on another.

Analog.
Although I usually just go with the flow of traffic, which is the safest way anyways. I only ever check my speed if Im passing a cop or someone is riding my ass. Or Im riding theirs. --- I'm right, as expected. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Never had digital speedometer but I probably would think analog because in general, for safety, you shouldnt care about exactly how fast your car is going but rather have a general idea which you can get via peripheral vision and the needles position on the dash.
