If anything, this is a better way to end drama because nobody will start anything when everything they post is visible. By having it locked, you're encouraging people to talk shit because they think they're safe. But if someone ends up leaking something, then boom, drama. What I'm posing is preventing drama.

You know I'm right. If all you wanted was a "more lax CE" area that didn't have as many ToU rules enforced, then you'd follow my process as well.

The point you people seem to be missing is that the shit-talking being done on that subreddit is being done publicly. Nobody there needs to hide behind closed doors.

Nobody I have heard from is against its existence. I can't speak for others, but I personally am just against the fact that it's supposed to be a "more lax on the rules" version of CE, yet it's only limited to select participants. All I ask is for transparency. I even offered a complete solution that would A.) end any potential for "leaking" drama, and B.) appease those from getting rejected. That solution is simply allow everyone in but MUTE everyone until they get approved on the board. Easy insta-fix. But nope. Won't even hear it.

Also please tell your friend Machete to stop lying about me. He accused me of telling lies about him, and then told me I was splitting hairs when I asked for proof. He calls it an indisputable fact when he never provided an ounce of proof. I don't know why he thinks he can call me a liar and then turn around and lie about me, both in the same post.

He also admits he "didn't see what the reddit said" yet somehow knows I personally am spreading lies about him? Seems awfully fishy to me.

If Error does't want users that are known to troll, cause drama and making multiple accounts just to do it, then I see no reason why he would even let them in "on a trial".

My solution has nothing to do with "trials." My solution is the same as what is going on now, except everyone gets read-only access until they get authorized. This A.) prevents "leaking" drama (which is clearly a concern as evidenced by the existence of an authorization process in the first place), and B.) will squash any rumors about trash talking going on (which we know is happening, but allowing everyone to see will actually prevent shit-talking since people can be held accountable)

Seems like a simple enough solution to me
