I used to eat it 2-4 times a week (especially years ago taking a class around Times Square that ended at 9:30pm, nothing else was really open at that time). I've cut down on it because I had started going to the fast casual burger places more in the past 5 years, such as Shake Shack, Five Guys, BareBurger, brgr. They are vastly better than any McDonald's burger.
For some reason though, I still crave McDonald's and go there occasionally. Does anyone else feel like this? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think the only thing from McDonald's that actively "poppable" and convenient are the McNuggets. I remember one night a friend and myself went to a McDonald's at like 1 in the morning and he ordered like a fifty piece order of McNuggets and shared it between us.

Both my current job and the one before that had a McDonald's around the corner, in one case really the only place to guy food and the other it was one of a handful of choices but probably the cheapest, so I was going there for lunch multiple times a week and would crave it when I missed a day or two. >_>
After my daughter was born I started going home for lunch, originally just planning to at first until my wife was back at work and my daughter would be at the babysitter, but I just kind of stuck with the habit (my dog appreciates going out in the middle of the work day, too) and now I don't crave McDonald's at all. Not that it sounds horrible or disgusting, but, ehh... just doesn't sound *good* either. I will occasionally pick up a drink there but that's usually it, probably only had a meal from there a handful of times in the last 18 months when the weather was bad and I didn't want to drive home or had to work late or whatever, but that hasn't been enough to hook me. --- ... Is it addictive? I can eat it once a year and never think about it otherwise. Matter of fact, I think the last time I ate it was back in 2017 when Tyron Woodley first fought Wonderboy. The only thing I ever actually think about wanting from there is an M&M mcflurry and I know the machine is always down for cleaning so I don't bother going.

Pretty much all fast food is ridiculously stuffed with salt and fat to an extent that eating it lights up the primitive parts of your brain. It's designed to be addictive in the sense that it's food that checks off very primitive indicators of what food you should eat, more primitive than just taste.

And tbh if I get fast food anymore I mostly just want to get obscene amounts of spicy nuggets from Burger King. Fucking 100 nuggets for 15 dollars. My dumbass parents always go to fast food places and just order a couple random meals and spend like 30 dollars. And I'm like, come on that could have been 200 nuggets. --- Dot Dot Dot... ...
