I never seen a video about RE6 that didn't annoy me. And this ones title annoys me already, so Im good. Don't compliment the game if you're too scared to say it's actually a good game. Take Resident Evil out the title. Just have it called 6 for no reason if you want and 80-90% of complaints are gone. There are plenty of games tainting the RE name by being actual bad games and it's not this one.

I think the video I posted did a good job of that, so did TCs.

Survival Horror with a co-op focus doesn't work. You can't do tension or story or psychological game design with a co-op mindset.
Tone is all over the place.
Characters act like idiots (Chris gets a new personality/backstory. Leon forgets what a zombie is, girl whose name I forget spend several levels crawling through zombies after killing the president saying "COme with me Leon! I can't explain! Keep coming! I'll show you!" just to end up going "I was blackailed." 2 hours late .... Then Leon is cool with that)
QTEs.
Immensely easy.
AI doesn't work correctly as shown, friendly NPCs frequently glitch out, bump into walls, run in circles etc. Enemies often stand still or kill themselves.
Insane set pieces that just become dull.
Awful vehicle segments
Full of cliches
Everything they were doing had been done better in other games at the time of its release.

So you get a survival horror game with no horror, easy to survive, no decent plot but long cutscenes, boring unimaginative enemies/bosses, action heavy but with generic dull shooting/meele that doesn't work

Not to mention the same dull boss fights being repeated over and over

There's a reason why despite good sales Capcom was like "Shit we gotta completely give up on this crap and start from scratch" with RE7. ITs a shit game.

You're right in that because it's Resident Evil 6 people are harsher to it because they compare it to the othe RE games that are all far superior in nearly every way, but that's not a defense of the game.

If it was just called "Night of Sasuasge Monsters" and was a new IP. No one would play it. IF anything it's metacritic score might even be lower since a lot of fanboys still gave it a high score just for being RE and there would be no defense force for it.

You do realize RE6 sold well and got some high ratings? It's got like a 6 or 7 metacritic score which is utterly insane for how bad it is.

It had some cool graphics/animation, some cool moments. But it was a shit game. Story, Gameplay, Atmosphere, Tone. All terrible.

Capcom is a big boy and it doesn't care about you. You don't need to defend it.
