cavalierking 08/21/19 11:54:37 PM #1:	e.g. i'm american, and just bought some shoes off of a dutch website (paid through paypal; currency was converted from euros to usd) i looked at my credit card statement today (just got a brand new card) and noticed that i got charged a foreign transaction fee for the above - like, does that usually happen? i thought only purchases made at brick-and-mortars counted as foreign transactions, and that websites were totally fine i've made (online) foreign transactions with another card before (which also charges a foreign transaction fee; through paypal as well), and i can't recall ever getting hit with anything --- live and let live <cite>cavalierking posted [p:926385948] in does buyin...
