Yeah I generally dont love shell on shrimp but I'll eat it in korean food or when they fry the heads with sweet shrimp sushi

Weird, I can't recall ever seeing shelled shrimp served in a restaurant or anything. It's always just grab it by the tail end and eat the rest. Maybe it's a regional thing.

@MabusIncarnate good guy, GREAT guy should check out some cajun style seafood boil spots! They sometimes serve it by the pound still in the shells, with the shell removed generally at a higher price.

Also asian restaurants depending sometimes serves them cooked in the shells
