I have a friend who works at BK. She says the Impossible Whopper is surpassing corporate expectations. They sell a lot of them.

Damn, well its fine for these places to have it as an option.
But its a dollar more than a reg whopper and only has 30 less calories (when its around 600, what's the difference)
I'll admit BK was very smart being the first fast food of the big 3 to do it.

BK has had a Veggie Burger on their menu for the past 12 years and it's not like they're replacing their beef/chicken products.

That said, I'm convinced that most of the flavor of the Impossible Whopper comes from grill scrapings.

Smart move. More and more fast food places are providing vegan options and it really is a great business decision. A lot of vegans are still the same shitty eaters that they were before they became vegans.

Taco Bell has been providing vegan options for years tho, and they deserve more praise for it.

Nothing wrong with more options. I'll check it out when I get a chance. Still haven't been assed to try the Impossible Whopper, but I've had all sorts of vegy alternatives in the past and they've been pretty good.

I have yet to eat at a KFC without wanting to puke afterwards. And that's saying something seeing as how I handle Taco Bell just fine.
