Sure. Had a group of 4 grossly obese people just empty everything out in front of me and everyone else in line. One tried picking up the container (which was still steaming hot) to take back to their table. One of the employees had to keep telling him no over and over, like a little kid who wouldn't listen.
They actually got kicked out for eating too much food. To put things in a visual perspective, they pushed 4 of those little restaurant tables together and every inch was covered in food. They sat as close as possible to the buffet, so as soon as one plate was empty, they'd fill up another It was the least amount of food I ever ate there because there simply was no food to eat. ... I don't go to them frequently but no so far but then again the chances are even lower since I don't live in the U.S.

The only all you can eat style places I ever been to are either Brazilian steak houses or Korean BBQs. Both places are hard to have interference from other people.
That being said, at a Christmas party for the company I work at that was hosted at a Brazilian steak house, me and my best friend(works at the company) sat at the worse spot. The tables were pressed together and we sat the furthest away from the door to the banquet room so the skewers were some times empty before the waiters made it to our seats --- ...
