Well this site is dying. I dont see why people would start coming here when you have video guides on YouTube and groups on Facebook to talk to other players. I mean I cant remember when I went to a board other than potd

Actually, there were never all THAT many concurrently active users at a single time even when the site was at its most active, especially during off-times. So that might not mean as much as you think it does.

A more interesting metric might be to chart the shift in the number of people voting in the poll over time, to see how much it's shifted downward from peak.

I honestly prefer reading text guides more than watching videos. The best for me is when text guides have pictures in them.

The funny thing is though that I hardly ever use gamefaqs for guides lol

Like old guide books back in the day.

Even that would be an imperfect measure. Web browsing habits have changed over the past 10-15 years. People seldom visit "portal" front pages, as their browsers remember the page they view most frequently and can take them to it instantly.

10 years ago I voted in the poll daily; these days entire weeks will go by where I completely forget the GF front page exists.

Well thats gonna suck. This site is my internet home. I dont really visit anywhere else on a regular basis. Im gonna stick around till its dead but when that happens is there any similar video game message boards? Guessing something on discord?
