Errrr... yeah that is not true, As mentioned in my original post, my 890 Jump, which is $890, is flyable in PTU, and will be live in about a week or two on the live Verse. My $750 dollar ship the Hammerhead is flyable now. and my other cheaper ships are all fly able now as well.

How is it not ever going to be completed? Diablo 3 as an example started development in 2001 and was released 2012. Star Citizen started in 2011, it is 2019. Diablo3 is a joke compared to what Star Citizen is. And we are still 3 years under Diablo 3's time frame.

Star citizen has procedurally generated systems and planets, multiple ships that are fly able, most of the mocaps done, physics done, and not many more major projects that need wrapping up.

So tell me what is the problem when Blizzard took 11 years to make a game from recycled code and Star Citizen taking 8 so far to make an entire new game from new source code and heavily modified game engines.

I'm curious now how much those cheaper ships were. Because technically $749 is cheaper, but I have a feeling there's a bit more of a difference.

I just personally couldn't see the appeal of dropping that much on one digital good. Even the $750 one is more than one of our house payments.

Like don't get me wrong, you do you. I'm just stunned at the idea of dropping that much on something like that. I can only think of all the different things one can get for that much money.

Just feels excessive to me I guess?

Still seems a bit high to me, but $45 is a lot cheaper than $750 or $890, and not unheard of.

I think sixty bucks gets you a decent solo ship and the game and the single player game squadron 42. That's what my $45 dollar ship is from. The squadron 42 package. Other ships only come with Star Citizen(the mmo game)

Paying hundreds or thousands of dollars just to get a ship in an unreleased video game is one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard of though

Yeah, I mean, you don't have repair missions, cargo missions, search and destroy missions, you can't explore a few planets including a city planet like coruscant from Star Wars, set bounties for other players, Fulfill bounties set by other players , pirate other players, complete missions from other players, or simply fly around and explore asteroid fields and other places looking for ship wrecks or other objects of interests. Can't get into dog fights, or gun fights with other players, or even have races on ground or space...

Yeah, I mean there is literally NOTHING to do in game right now....
