Interesting. What aura does it convey when you wear it, in your opinion?

I like Aventus because it concludes these things, all through scent, even if you aren't particularly of these traits through and through: Confidence, boldness, manliness, assured, clean cut, gentleman, strength, probably some others too but I just love what the scent entails

It really does say something about the one who wears it

I got it for my boyfriend on a whim (a $200 whim) but the moment where we both smelled it for the first time was really something.

I guess the predominantly musty smell it has makes me feel like I'm with someone really many and masculine.

I've smelled a lot of their other colognes. I don't know if I want to make this one "my" colonge or my boyfriends. Santiel is their other popular one but I prefer Th Noir. There's also some more fruity/unisexual ones that are nice (Bergamote and Neroli)

I just recently picked up the fascination with colognes and scents in like 2015 I think. Hugo Boss is nice and simple. Really pleasant and unoffensive; cannot go wrong really

yes it was my very first cologne I really liked to use and stuck with. I don't think you can find it in most stores anymore, but you can still get it online.

Try the givenchy one, it is similar but better in my opinion. Good for Fall / Winter.

Wow you're an excellent friend lol. That's a perfect gift. If you don't know if it's for you or your bf that's a cologne that cannot define. It's lukewarm in the sense that it will not define you as you wear it, but it will still heavily compliment you as the wearer. A defining scent will say something, and it will let you know about you, and you will instantly know at some point that it's a scent that you want to roll with at least every couple of weeks when you're feeling it. I personally enjoy those types, but I'm always more leaning towards the scents that make you feel like you're in a different realm; they just take you there

Maybe that cologne still does that, idk, bcv ive never tried it, but if you can find those particular scents; the ones that seem to capture things? That is an impressive cologne
