I spilled like a half cup of warm melted butter from an Alfredo sauce on my laptop keyboard a few years back. Did not affect performance, as butter is an oil and therefore not conductive. It was like my computer was mineral oil cooled, but with butter.

Even after cleaning it, on hot days you can still catch faint whiffs of Alfredo. I now use the very same laptop as a Minecraft server.
