anyway i plan to ask her to marry me this coming saturday on our trip.

well i just go over to his house (he lives down the block lol) and ask to talk about her and tell her about how amazing she is and how much i love her and how i want his blessing to marry her. i imagine he'll get all happy and i dunno.

When I asked my exes's father's permission he grabbed a bottle of vodka from the liquor cabinet and poured us both glasses and asked me what the hell was wrong with me, she treated me like shit and why would I want to put up with her bullshit for the rest of her life?

Really put things in perspective for me. She's now recently divorced and living back with her parents and debating on whether to move down to Tennessee with them from here.
