.300 Bolt action rifle

Advantage: Most powerful, being a 200grain bullet
Disadvantage: Slow loading slide, rather heavy

7mm Magnum Break Action

Advantage: Pretty decent, and fast loading - lightest option
Disadvantage: less powerful 120grain shot

7mm Magnum Bullpup: (same ammo as the break action)

Advantage: 5 shot cartridge means target isn't gunna get away
Disadvantage: least accurate after the first shot due to fatigue punishes panic firing the most (like against Bears)... also accidentally hitting the reload button (reflexively) is a death sentence

Other notes:
the single shot rifles will probably be just as effective over time, but I think the .300's increased power might outweigh (literally) the lighter break action

The Bullpup would be the best if I'm spawn camping or shooting at bait sites, but I doubt I could hit a 500 meter shot with it.

Have you considered building an AR? Its a rewarding and fun experience.

In game there's only a few guns that support the 22x Scope. The others are the 7mm Scout (IE: the Streyr Scout by any other name), a 7x64mm Bolt Action, the vintage 8x57 IS Anschtz 1780 D FL Bolt Action Rifle, the 9.3x74R O/U Break Action Rifle, the .45-70 Government Lever Action Rifle, and the .340 Weatherby Magnum Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby is just toooooo expensive, it would take like 3 months of grinding to get it. and the rest don't have Wild Boar coverage.
