The video game landscape is much worse for having X Box replace Sega as the "third" console maker. X Box does the same shit and plays the same games as Playstation; there's no difference and its existence is pointless. Meanwhile, Sega's unique and fun consoles were a refreshing third option to Nintendo and Sony.

Like it or not, Microsoft broke tons of ground in the online console landscape

Could be; but since PS came first I give it the deference over x box. Point is, the two are redundant, we don't need both. Video game landscape was better when we had Sega, Nintendo and Sony each doing very different things.

Dreamcast continues to be my all-time favorite console. A small, but potent library.

And the console was way ahead of its time. I really wish it had succeeded, and right now I was playing the "Sega Wonderbox" or whatever their latest gen console would have been called...

Xbox tried to be different but you refused to accept their light. Sony tried to upstage Nintendo with a superior product as well. There is no change when you're in chains.

I had one from 2000 to 2004. It was the last console I owned.
