...fuck, it's been so long I can barely remember. I think it was C Left, but I honestly can't remember for sure. It was either that or C Right. Hell, now C Right feels more correct than Left.

Ocarina on left, hammer on down, hook/longshot on right was my default. I liked fighting enemies with the hammer instead of the sword sometimes.

Either down or right... I think. I've played through the game a solid 4-6 times & only the first playthrough was the N64 version.
