This pisses me off so much.

There are movements that take legit causes, embrace them and then they get overrun by racist or sexist or bitter or violent assholes that poison the entire well and spoil the thing.

Originally the "new right" was going to be against the rampant corporativism/outsourcing going on in today's economies, but instead it became a nest of rabid white supremacists (literally) and nazis (again, literally), it became the alt-right.

Something similar happened to PUA. Sharing tips on how to get the attention of the opposite sex sounds innocent enough, and incels need it badly. But instead it got poisoned by racist, sexist, toxic assholes and they made PUA places a gateway drug to the alt-right (see a pattern?)

MGTOW was supposed to be about guys who've been burned by women before and simply want to "go their own way", and/or at least just work on themselves and stop trying to have sex. But instead it got hijacked by racist sexist, toxic assholes and it became a gateway drug to the alt right too... and the pattern repeats once again.

My impression on it is that any guy who follow this philosophy got burned by a woman and doesn't want it to happen again. Which is kind of shame since not all women are out to get guys like that. But then I hear some of these stories and I'm like "yeah, I don't blame them."

I like it, to many guys value their entire self worth based entirely around woman. How much their supposed to like them, how much woman should like them, what they can and should do for woman, and etc.

Instead of prioritising more important things in your such as yourself and your goals.

Ehh, it depends. It seems there are members who talk about still having sex with women, but thats about the extent of it. Then there are those who fully embrace the Going Their Own Way part and advocate for completely abandoning any interaction with women, at least as much as possible.

I dont support either stance, but they seem mostly harmless so I dont really care and am not offended by their existence.
