he's a magical being that represents the spirit and patriotism of america. kinda like a supernatural Captain America. and he gets his power directly from the belief of the citizens of america, in their country and it's ways. when patriotism and american spirit are high, he is super powered. he gets weaker if people lose faith in their nation. I have always wanted to see an adaptation on this guy in some form. we got really close once....like a year or 2 ago, there was a CW Arrowverse crossover event involving the alternate earth this guy is from. where Nazis conquered the world. but for some reason the CW didn't actually have him appear even though they visited his world. and he's arguably the most important and most famous character from that earth, in the comics. according to wikipedia, he only ever showed up in an episode of that cartoon Batman, Brave and the Bold. I should look that episode up some time..... but I still dream of a live action version. ... Copied to Clipboard!
