Nah I wouldn't say to write off dating completely but you may have to settle for someone slightly less kinky and not as into the whole collaring thing for example.

Most of the other people he was also involved with had that mentality. I also spent time in the BDSM community on my own and found it wasn't just him and his little harem that thought like that.

My ex did it to me. I had such low self esteem at the time that I went with it. So of course I didn't pick up any ladies because I was super depressed. As far as I know she was only hooking up with one other guy. Who was married. Smart. His wife eventually found out. Also turned out he didn't know about me and was planning to leave his wife for her. I eventually had to ghost her, I was still crazy about her and shit was too painful. When him and I finally talked he kicked her ass to the curb. She was such a cold hearted manipulative person.

I learned very early on that what I want out of a relationship seems to be vastly different than the majority wants.

Ive come to terms with it, but there are some times where I wonder if Ive missed out.

Online dating is an uphill battle that 90% of guys lose, while the rest clean up. Everyone has that one friend that "kills it" with online dating and meets new women all the time, but for the rest of us, just don't waste your time.

I mostly had luck with sites like tinder and okcupid (I started college in 2012 so at first mainly okcupid) when I was in college because I either lived on or near campus and there were tons of slutty college girls wanting to smash.

I also had a lot of luck just hanging out on campus and hitting on women.

I get laid sometimes now but it hasn't been the same since post college tbh.
